2009 Summer Art Camp Overview Hibel
Museum of Art Summer Camp 2009 Instructors: Patricia
Trotter (retired after 36
years of teaching elementary art in New
Jersey) and Charlene
Lightman (currently
elementary art teacher in Palm Beach
County School District). The HMA 2009 Summer Camp Program will teach basic to advanced techniques of Drawing and Painting, (depending on your child's level). The Drawing and Painting will cover multimedia instruction on use of materials, technique, perceptive and exercises to improve artistic ability. Using the elements of art, there will be a focus on different countries/continents and their unique styles or art forms.
Supplies are included with
the cost of the camp as well as two
daily snacks.
Students must provide their own
lunch.
The Daily Schedule will be as
follows:

life, work & philosophy by Museum
Director or Asst. Director) Art
Instruction from certified art
teachers Homework
(Optional) Encouragement
to pursue artistic interests Displayed
work in Hibel Museum of Art at the end
of class There
will be an "exhibit reception"
held at the end of the last class, July
31st. All students, parents and their
guests are invited to the museum for a
special viewing of the campers' art
work. One work of art per student per week
will be displayed during the reception
and remain on "exhibit' at the
museum until
August 7, 2009. Ms. Edna
Hibel will be invited to meet the
children, see their works of art on
display, and answer their questions. |

With out donations from our generous supporters we can not keep our doors open.
